Where and how can I best book a room?

You can get the best price directly from our website. If you book one of our packages, you will receive a clear price advantage.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of free parking available in front of the hotel during your stay. You can easily load and unload directly in front of the hotel entrance.
We are happy to offer a garage parking space for an additional charge, subject to availability.

Can I charge my electric car at the hotel?

There are MER electric charging stations available in our parking lot. Payment processing takes place via the MER app.
We do not make reservations for the parking spaces.

When is the reception open?

Our reception team is there for you every day from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

When can I arrive?

Your room is available to you on the day of arrival from Monday to Saturday from 2:00 p.m. and on Sundays and public holidays from 3:00 p.m.

Can I arrive after 8:30 p.m.?

Arrival is also possible after our opening hours. Please let us know and we will provide you with your room card and explain how to proceed.

What do I have to consider when checking out?

We ask that you vacate your room by 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure to ensure that subsequent guests can check in on time.

Are dogs allowed in Winkler Bräu?

Your pet is also welcome. We charge 25.00 euros per day and dog as a contribution to the additional cleaning costs.
Please don't forget the appropriate food, this is not included in the price.

May I cancel my reservation?

Your booked room can be canceled free of charge up to 3 days before arrival.
If you cancel within these 3 days, we will charge 80% of your room price. Please note the different cancellation conditions for group bookings of 3 rooms or more.

How can I pay my bill?

You can pay your bill at reception in cash or with an EC card, MasterCard, VisaCard, AmericanExpress or Diners Club credit card.

If you plan your check-out in the morning before our reception opening hours, we recommend that you check out the evening before by 8:00 p.m.

Should I take out travel cancellation insurance?

We generally recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance before every trip.

Culinary & Restaurant

What are the breakfast times?

From Monday to Saturday, our Upper Palatinate country breakfast buffet is available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Sundays and public holidays until 11:00 a.m.

 

Can I come for breakfast as an external guest?

Yes, we also offer our Upper Palatinate country breakfast buffet for external guests from Monday to Friday.
However, we ask that you inquire and make a reservation in advance, as we only have limited capacity and can accept groups of a maximum of 6 people.
 

Do I have to reserve a table when visiting a restaurant?

In general, we always recommend a reservation to guarantee you a place in our dining rooms.
You can do this via our homepage or by email.

A table is always reserved for dinner for our guests.

 

I am allergic to certain foods, can I get appropriate meals?

Please let us know early when making your reservation if you have any intolerances or are allergic to certain foods.
On request, we offer you a selection of lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan dishes.

When can I come to the booked 3-course GenussMomente menu?

You are welcome to sit at your reserved table in our dining rooms from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There is also a vegetarian alternative every day for our 3-course GenussMomente menu.
You can have the drinks added to your room bill in the evening and paid for at the end of your stay. However, please do not forget to sign the invoice in the evening.

Is the hotel barrier-free or suitable for wheelchair users?

Our hotel is mostly barrier-free or suitable for wheelchair users, with a few exceptions.
You can reach all of our dining rooms, the SPA area and many of our guest rooms barrier-free.

Please let us know when making your booking so that we can reserve a suitable room for you.

Can we rent bikes?

To explore the nature around the Winkler Bräu and the Bavarian Jura, we offer you our Winkler Bräu bicycles for rental.
Our trekking bikes are available to you free of charge. We charge a fee for our e-bikes and e-mountain bikes.

For a feeling of security, we provide our bikes with worry-free insurance cover and if you are surprised by something on the way, the pick-up service will be there very quickly.
We would be happy to pack you a WinklerBräu backpack filled with delicious delicacies for on the go.

Can I safely store my own bike in the hotel?

Our free, lockable bicycle room in our parking lot is available for your bicycles.

Where can I register for the newsletter?

Here you can sign up for our newsletters and choose your favorite topics.

QuellenReich SPA

Can I also use the QuellenReich SPA before or after my departure?

You are welcome to use our QuellenReich SPA from 11:00 a.m. on the day of arrival or on the day of departure after check-out for EUR 25.00 per person.
Please let us know your reservation in advance.

What are the opening times of the SPA area?

You can find our SPA opening times on our homepage.

Do you also offer Day SPA?

Yes, we also offer Day SPA from Sunday to Friday. We ask for your understanding that Day SPA is not possible on Saturdays and during holidays.
From Wednesday to Friday, Day SPA can only be booked in conjunction with a treatment.
Please note that we can only accept group bookings of a maximum of four Day SPA guests.

Are bathrobes and towels provided?

So that you feel even more comfortable with us, you will find a spa basket with a cozy bathrobe in your room upon arrival.

Bath towels are available on the shelves in the QuellenReich SPA. Please use them mindfully and place them in the designated laundry baskets after use.

Do I have to bring my own slippers?

Please bring your own bathing slippers for the sake of the environment. However, if you have forgotten them, we will be happy to provide you with slippers at reception.

We would be delighted if you would continue to wear our slippers at home.

I would like to book a SPA treatment. Whats the best way to do this?

Hotel & Day SPA guests can book our SPA treatments Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No applications are possible from Sunday to Tuesday!

Choose from our extensive SPA menu and reserve your desired date in good time by email.

Vouchers

I would like to give away a voucher – what options are there?

We are happy to offer you our Winkler Bräu vouchers, which you can redeem individually according to your wishes, for example in the restaurant, in the new QuellenReich SPA or in the Gutshofhotel.
You can order these from the comfort of your own home and we offer the Print@Home function for those who decide at short notice.
